The objective of this thesis is to bring to light the importance of services in today's economic reality. In order to highlight the new emerging context, a company operating in the engineering sector has been taken as a reference: a company size that, at first glance, would appear to be distant from this scenario, given the material and physical consistency of the products it offers. As it is studied, the company will be able to bring out the relevance of services through the creation of a team completely dedicated to the development of activities, linked to the production context. After providing a complete overview of services in general and considering the business reality of Delta Costruzioni Meccaniche, order data for the last three years: 2018, 2019 and 2020 were analysed and categorised. The information collected was extrapolated and captured by the company's management system, which provides a complete, clear and punctual collection of all the aspects taken into consideration to arrive at the result of the investigation. The data brought to light a valid and effective justification for the creation of a team dedicated to the services and activities required by them: an engineer, a specialised technician and a worker would take care of its implementation, which is key to the new company. This decision would entail considerable investment costs for the first year, but would be amply repaid after only two years. The implementation of the suggested team would produce great benefits, both in economic and organisational terms and, as it is also a structural change within the company, this can be achieved through a gradual and progressive transformation.
L'obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di portare alla luce l'importanza che i servizi occupano nella realtà economica di oggigiorno. Per sottolineare il nuovo contesto emergente, è stata presa come riferimento un'azienda operante nel settore metalmeccanico: una dimensione aziendale che, a primo avviso, parrebbe essere distante da questo scenario, data la consistenza materiale e fisica dei prodotti da essa offerti. Come viene studiato, l'azienda potrà far emergere la rilevanza dei servizi attraverso la creazione di una squadra completamente dedicata allo sviluppo di attività, legate al contesto produttivo. Dopo aver fornito un quadro completo sui servizi in generale e dopo aver considerato la realtà aziendale di Delta Costruzioni Meccaniche, sono stati analizzati e categorizzati i dati degli ordini relativi agli ultimi tre anni: 2018, 2019 e 2020. Le informazioni raccolte sono state estrapolate e catturate dal sistema gestionale dell'azienda, che fornisce una raccolta completa, chiara e puntuale di tutti gli aspetti presi in considerazione per arrivare al risultato dell'indagine. I dati hanno portato alla luce una giustificazione valida ed efficace per la creazione di una squadra dedicata ai servizi ed alle attività da essi richieste: un ingegnere, un tecnico specializzato ed un operaio si occuperanno della sua implementazione, chiave della nuova realtà aziendale. Questa decisione comporterebbe dei costi di investimento notevoli per il primo anno, ma sarebbero ampiamente ripagati dopo solo due anni. La realizzazione del team suggerito produrrebbe grandi benefici, sia in termini economici che organizzativi e, trattandosi inoltre di un cambiamento a livello strutturale all'interno dell'azienda, questo traguardo potrà essere raggiunto attraverso una graduale e progressiva trasformazione.
