Sound is all around us, whether intentional or coincidental. It has the power to influence us and even form opinions of places. However, sound only becomes noise when not considered while designing, leading to noise pollution. A positive soundscape amplifies the ambience, can be truly transformative for the user, and is a step towards creating a healthier environment. As humans of the 21st century, our approach towards experiencing a place should be holistic and needs a paradigm shift. It should not be limited to a visual perception rather an immersive, interactive experience that can activate our aural senses. Cremona is a rich Italian city with a classical music identity for centuries. However, the perception of classical music has been stagnant for quite some time, and the industry seems to be struggling to thrive in modern society. In this thesis, an attempt to revolutionize this scenario is radically researched in context with CremonaFiere, an International Music fair at Cremona. Innovation is finally applied to design an informal music hub with diverse activities.

Abstract
Innovation is finally applied to design an informal music hub with diverse activities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
