The alternative landscape of three chimneys

The three chimneys and turbine hall were constructed in the 1970s as part of a thermal power station as the post-industrial monumental icon stands in the Sant Adrià de Besòs of Barcelona. Faced with the background of the expansion of the city's periphery, this suburb will be re-developed. The main alternative proposal is adding a new scenery belt from the train station to the previous thermal power station, establishing a series of comprehensive impact systems, based on the infrastructure, public spaces, multifunctional areas. Proposed new strategies for different aspects: social housing upgrading in the post-industrial zone, public space renewal, environmental quality improvement, and industrial culture inheritance for the transformation and development. With industrial inheritance as the core, the site will be transformed into a new place through sustainable methods of reducing destruction and reusing waste industrial materials to achieve the goal of enhancing the vitality and quality of the city. More importantly, stimulates the existing industrial heritage itself, makes it becomes a new important landmark in the field, and once again being used by people.

I tre camini e la sala delle turbine sono stati costruiti negli anni '70 come parte di una centrale termica poiché l'icona monumentale post-industriale si trova nel Sant Adrià de Besòs di Barcellona. Di fronte allo sfondo dell'espansione della periferia della città, questo sobborgo sarà riqualificato. La principale proposta alternativa è l'aggiunta di una nuova cintura scenografica dalla stazione ferroviaria alla precedente centrale termica, stabilendo una serie di sistemi di impatto globali, basati su infrastrutture, spazi pubblici, aree multifunzionali. Proposte nuove strategie per diversi aspetti: riqualificazione dell'edilizia sociale nella zona post-industriale, rinnovamento dello spazio pubblico, miglioramento della qualità ambientale, eredità della cultura industriale per la trasformazione e lo sviluppo. Con l'eredità industriale al centro, il sito sarà trasformato in un nuovo luogo attraverso metodi sostenibili per ridurre la distruzione e riutilizzare i materiali industriali di scarto per raggiungere l'obiettivo di migliorare la vitalità e la qualità della città. Ancora più importante, stimola lo stesso patrimonio industriale esistente, lo fa diventare un nuovo importante punto di riferimento nel settore e ancora una volta utilizzato dalle persone.
