Partecipatory processes in support of integration paths in French social housing

The thesis aims to study participatory measures to support integration in France. The paper starts by defining and clarifying the concept of social housing, and then investigates social housing in France, the various laws adopted and how the State French thinks of social housing. After giving an overview, the thesis focuses on participatory living and its functioning and the objectives it seeks to pursue. Finally, a small focus on collaborative living as an example of a tool for housing integration in our country and also here how living begins to pursue social objectives certainly no less important than the technical aspects, making the inhabitant as an active subject and not merely passive.

La tesi intende studiare i processi partecipativi a supporto dell’integrazione in Francia. L’elaborato parte dando una definizione e chiarendo il concetto di abitare sociale, per poi indagare l’housing sociale in Francia, le varie leggi adottate e come lo Stato francese pensa l’abitare sociale. Dopo aver dato una panoramica, la tesi si concentra sull’ abitare partecipativo e il suo funzionamento e gli obiettivi che cerca di perseguire. Infine, un piccolo focus sull’ abitare collaborativo come esempio di strumento di integrazione abitativa nel nostro Paese e anche qui come l’abitare inizia a perseguire anche obiettivi sociali di certo non meno importanti degli aspetti tecnici, rendendo l’abitante come soggetto attivo e non meramente passivo.
