Consumers currently face many obstacles regarding their customer experience related to the lack of information along with the waiting period to receive and consume the product. For instance, in the pastry industry, it is well established that the presentation of the product doesn’t meet costumers needs (health inquiries, product information and diverse product selection). This thesis aims to meet as much as possible the lacks faced by consumers; therefore, a new designed product has been developed in order to serve the customer’s maximum satisfaction. To test the hypothesis of more indirect and direct interaction with the product leads to higher customer satisfaction. Two online surveys were distributed among users and shop owners along with an interview with Tecfrigo based in Italy. Indeed, the conducted results determined the main objectives that led to the final product which will be as will be discussed in the paper. Moreover, these results led to designing the product which combines three main functions: coffee machine, storage, and refrigeration system.
I consumatori attualmente affrontano molti ostacoli per quanto riguarda la loro esperienza del cliente legati alla mancanza di informazioni insieme al periodo di attesa per ricevere e consumare il prodotto. Ad esempio, nel settore della pasticceria, è assodato che la presentazione del prodotto non soddisfa le esigenze dei clienti (indagini sanitarie, disponibilità e scelta diversificata dei prodotti). Questa tesi mira a soddisfare il più possibile le carenze affrontate dai consumatori; è stato quindi sviluppato un nuovo prodotto progettato per servire la massima soddisfazione del cliente. Testare l’ipotesi di interazione più indiretta e diretta con il prodotto porta ad una maggiore soddisfazione del cliente. Sono stati distribuiti due sondaggi online tra utenti e proprietari di negozi insieme a un’intervista a Tecfrigo con sede in Italia. In effetti, i risultati condotti hanno determinato i principali obiettivi che hanno portato al prodotto finale che sarà come verrà discusso nel documento. Inoltre, questi risultati hanno portato alla progettazione del prodotto che unisce tre funzioni principali: macchina per il caffè, stoccaggio e sistema di refrigerazione.
