In this work we studied the morphology, structure and optical properties of silver and gold nanoparticles synthesized by PLD (pulsed lase deposition). The diagnostic of the ablation plasma allowed to control the size and mutual aggregation of the produced nanoparticles, that constitute substrates suitable to be used for SERS (surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy) measurements. PLD allows to prepare nanoparticles without using precursors (always adopted in chemical routes)that contribute to Raman spectra. Moreover they enter in complex-chemical interactions with the species to be identified, that often are present in exiguous amount.

Abstract
In this work we studied the morphology, structure and optical properties of silver and gold nanoparticles synthesized by PLD (pulsed lase deposition). The diagnostic of the ablation plasma allowed to control the size and mutual aggregation of the produced nanoparticles, that constitute substrates suitable to be used for SERS (surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy) measurements. PLD allows to prepare nanoparticles without using precursors (always adopted in chemical routes)that contribute to Raman spectra. Moreover they enter in complex-chemical interactions with the species to be identified, that often are present in exiguous amount.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
