Shiraz city and Shiraz wine are two memorable names that have always been complementary. Wherever one mentions Shiraz, Shiraz wine comes to mind. Fars province and the city of Shiraz were the largest regions of vineyards and wine production in Iran before the Islamic Revolution of 1978, but its production continues unofficially and locally. The main vineyards and gardens of Shiraz were located in the northern part of the city, which is adjacent to the Khoshk river that flows diagonally through the city and creates a pleasant climate and picturesque landscape in this part of the city. The presence of two considerable elements which are the river and gardens in this area has a significant potential to help this city location be more absorbing from the perspective of urban tourism. But unfortunately due to the lack of attention to the river that flows quietly through the city and the lack of suitable conditions for the gardens and vineyards, causes this part misses its past historical value. Also, the vineyards have been gradually decreased over the past 20 years due to a lack of attention to its condition as well as increasing population and migration from other areas to this part, several orchards have been destroyed and buildings have been built instead. Furthermore, from the point of view of the landscape, paying attention to the orchards, as well as the presence of the river, can revive part of the historical value of Shiraz.
La città di Shiraz e il vino di Shiraz sono due nomi memorabili che sono sempre stati complementari. Ovunque si menzioni Shiraz, viene in mente il vino Shiraz. La provincia di Fars e la città di Shiraz erano le più grandi regioni di vigneti e produzione di vino in Iran prima della rivoluzione islamica del 1978, ma la sua produzione continua in modo non ufficiale e locale. I principali vigneti e giardini di Shiraz si trovavano nella parte settentrionale della città, adiacente al fiume Khoshk che scorre diagonalmente attraverso la città e crea un clima piacevole e un paesaggio pittoresco in questa parte della città. La presenza di due elementi considerevoli che sono il fiume e i giardini in quest'area ha un potenziale significativo per aiutare questa posizione della città ad essere più assorbente dal punto di vista del turismo urbano. Ma purtroppo a causa della scarsa attenzione al fiume che scorre tranquillo attraverso la città e della mancanza di condizioni idonee per i giardini e le vigne, fa perdere a questa parte il suo passato valore storico. Inoltre, i vigneti sono stati gradualmente ridotti negli ultimi 20 anni a causa della mancanza di attenzione alle sue condizioni, dell'aumento della popolazione e della migrazione da altre aree a questa parte, diversi frutteti sono stati distrutti e sono stati invece costruiti edifici. Inoltre, dal punto di vista paesaggistico, prestare attenzione ai frutteti, oltre che alla presenza del fiume, può far rivivere parte del valore storico di Shiraz.
