Studium' and punctum. A way to read urban text,a way for architecture and urban design

'Studium' and 'Punctum' is a pair of concept raised by Roland Barthes.In this thesis 'Studium' and 'Punctum' is introduced to architecture and urban design field.Based on the research of typology,morphology,urban visual elements and city of Bilbao and Milan,this thesis proposes a way to read urban text and a way in architecture and urban design by using 'Studium' and 'Punctum'.As a practice of 'Studium' and 'Punctum' theory,this thesis makes research on city Wuxi to read its urban text and finishes a design of campus.'Studium' and 'Punctum' design methods are realized in the design process to make the school a place recognized by citizens,a place respects local culture and a place links past and future.

'Studium' e 'Punctum' è un concetto sollevato da Roland Barthes. In questa tesi 'Studium' e 'Punctum' sono introdotti nel campo dell'architettura e del design urbano. Basato sulla ricerca di tipologia, morfologia, elementi visivi urbani e città di Bilbao e Milano, questa tesi propone un modo di leggere il testo urbano e un modo nell'architettura e nel design urbano utilizzando 'Studium' e 'Punctum'. Come pratica della teoria 'Studium' e 'Punctum', questa tesi fa ricerca sulla città di Wuxi leggere il suo testo urbano e terminare un progetto del campus. I metodi di progettazione 'Studium' e 'Punctum' sono realizzati nel processo di progettazione per rendere la scuola un luogo riconosciuto dai cittadini, un luogo rispettoso della cultura locale e un luogo che lega passato e futuro.
