II Chapter between the two world wars, golden period for transatlantic liners, 1933 Italy wins the Rex, 2nd world war. IIIepilogue Liner, trade union struggles, resilience of transatlantic liners, Cruiser statement, the forerunner Costa introduced the circularity of travel and entertainment as in Love Boat.IV Chapter comparative analysis of shipping companies: Carnival corporation ( FunShip); Royal Caribbean; from Floating Palace to Floating Cities; genesis of a ship; comparison between the 2 Italian MSC (mass) and Silversea (luxury); Festival phenomenon.
