Sound manipulation as a design tool for landscape architecture : how could sound be manipulated in the landscape design to contribute to creating new emotions?

Is the landscape just visual? This question is actually the starting point of everything. You started to visit a park, is it enough just to see the environment to understand the whole view? The sounds of birds, trees, bushes, and flowers. A mountain stretches out in front of you, accompanied by a waterfall dividing the mountain in two. And a flock of birds flies above you. Either the clouds are floating in the sky. Now I want you to close your eyes. But what do you remember when you close your eyes? Your eyes are closed and you begin to hear the sounds of this landscape. The waterfall dividing the mountain in two, the flock of birds flying over you, the movement of the branches of the trees with the wind. Hasn't all this started to color the landscape where you are in the dark? It's much easier to imagine now. Now then let's ask the question again. Is the landscape just visual? Landscape, with the definition we are accustomed to and learned, encompasses everything that occurs in our natural or man-made environment and is a whole that can be perceived by all senses. It would be wrong to reduce it to just visual. We focus so much on the visual that we don't even realize how important the sounds are. Imagine a landscape without the sounds behind it. Is it enough? The main purpose of this research by a focus on the sense of hearing, which is one of the senses to understand the landscape. The aim is to explore these landscape sounds, to understand their physical and psychological effects, and with its results, to see how these sounds can contribute to creating new emotions in landscape design.
