Pregnancy is a truly emotional stage in a woman’s life. In the nine months between her and the time she meets the baby, a mother has thousands of questions whirling in her head. Accompanying women on this path are gynecologists and obstetricians able to support them with everything related to the scientific aspects of pregnancy. But what are the uncertainties on which professionals cannot intervene? The desire to get to know your baby is incredibly strong from the moment a woman discovers she has become pregnant. The apparently minimal distance between her and the fetus seems an insurmountable obstacle to interacting with her child. This project aims to help mothers nurture prenatal attachment. Through massage guiding and fetal heartbeat listening, Bond band favors the creation of a prenatal bond that allows parents to get to know the baby that will be born as early as the sixth month of pregnancy. The use of textiles and smart materials has allowed the creation of a comfortable and soft wearable device, in which the product functions are seamlessly integrated. The operation of Bond Band is simple and immediate, designed to shorten the distance between parents and the child.

Abstract
The operation of Bond Band is simple and immediate, designed to shorten the distance between parents and the child.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
