A detailed study on how to improve the performance of this centrifugal test bench was investigated. Due to the contionuous useage of this bench over a long period of time , there are lot of inaccuaracies. A proposal for the possible replacement of the pressure transducers are proposed for measuring both static and total pressure accurately with required specification for didactic purpose. The characteristic curve is obtained through head and mass flow rate values. The torque meter has to be recalibrated because the signal observed from it was fluctuating and it was observed in NI-MAX software as the signal did not produce the required voltage . A detailed proposal for the replacement of these components has been proposed. Different boundary layer control mechanisms have been studied in detail . An analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of different boundary layer control mechanism has been thoroughly investigated . The selection of a particular boundary layer control meachanism which is known as directed stream jet mechanism through an acoustic excitation from speaker has been done due to better performance, less energy input ,less cost and easy to set up . The speaker jbl 2118 8 inch sub woofer type is proposed due to its advantages . It has been observed that the pressure recovery coefficient increases and the overall performance of the diffuser can be improved by 30 percentage.2-d model of the directed stream jet method for the existing test bench has been modelled with the help of Autodesk inventor software.
È stato studiato uno studio dettagliato su come migliorare le prestazioni di questo banco di prova centrifugo. A causa dell'uso contionuous di questa panca per un lungo periodo di tempo, ci sono molte imprecisioni. Viene proposta una proposta per l'eventuale sostituzione dei trasduttori di pressione per misurare con precisione sia la pressione statica che quella totale con le specifiche richieste a scopo didattico. La curva caratteristica è ottenuta attraverso i valori di portata di testa e di massa. Il torsiometro deve essere ricalibrato perché il segnale osservato da esso era fluttuante ed è stato osservato nel software NI-MAX poiché il segnale non produceva la tensione richiesta. Una proposta dettagliata per la sostituzione di questi componenti è stata proposta con specifiche migliori. Diversi meccanismi di controllo dello strato limite sono stati studiati in dettaglio. Un'analisi sui vantaggi e gli svantaggi del diverso meccanismo di controllo dello strato limite è stata accuratamente studiata . La selezione di un particolare meccanismo di controllo dello strato limite che è noto come meccanismo a getto di flusso diretto attraverso un'eccitazione acustica dall'altoparlante è stata fatta grazie a prestazioni migliori, meno input di energia, meno costi e facile da configurare. L'altoparlante jbl 2118 8 pollici tipo sub woofer è proposto per i suoi vantaggi. È stato osservato che il coefficiente di recupero della pressione aumenta e le prestazioni complessive del diffusore possono essere migliorate del 30%.Il modello 2-d del metodo a getto di flusso diretto per il banco di prova esistente è stato modellato con l'aiuto del software Autodesk Inventor.
