Social housing come possibile soluzione alla nuova concezione dell'abitare: casi studio a confronto alla ricerca di linee guida nella nuova progettazione

During our studies, many topics have been addressed in the field of design, among them one that particularly struck us was Social Housing. We believe that social housing is an urban reality that is intended to be quite successful today and in the future, as a reality that best matches post-pandemic needs, both at the level of people's new housing and social desires and as a response to the economic impacts of Covid-19. However, we believe that this type of housing especially in Europe, has over the years lost its social value in favor of policies that look to speculation and mere economic gain by affecting the very design of buildings and urban space. For these reasons, the intent of our research is to show how due to its characteristics social housing can be considered as a valuable solution to the new problem of housing, fully reflecting the society of the future, rich in sharing and a sense of community.

Durante il nostro percorso di studi molti sono stati i temi affrontati nel campo della progettazione, tra questi uno che ci ha particolarmente colpiti è stato il Social Housing. Crediamo che l’housing sociale sia una realtà urbana destinata a riscuotere parecchio successo oggi e nel futuro, in quanto realtà che meglio si coniuga con le esigenze post-pandemiche, sia a livello di nuovi desideri abitativi e sociali delle persone che come risposta alle ripercussioni economiche di Covid-19. Tuttavia, riteniamo che questo tipo di edilizia soprattutto in Europa, abbia negli anni perso la sua valenza sociale in favore di politiche che guardano alla speculazione e al mero guadagno economico influendo sulla stessa progettazione degli edifici e dello spazio urbano. Per questi motivi l’intento della nostra ricerca è quello di dimostrare come grazie alle sue caratteristiche il social housing può essere considerata come valida soluzione al nuovo problema dell’abitare, riflettendo a pieno la società del futuro, ricca di condivisione e senso di comunità.
