Abstract
In recent years, with the connection of the Internet, geography is no longer an obstacle. We can communicate and share information with people from all over the world on the Internet. But people who have long been shaped as "global villagers" by globalization and the Internet are now often unable to understand each other's words on social platforms and quarrel endlessly. Profit-driven misinformation feeds people biased, distorted, or emotionally charged perspectives, engages people in endless quarrels and attacks, and complicates and clutters the social media landscape. But in this great scuffle in the virtual world, there is a group of vulnerable and vulnerable groups, children and teenagers, who are full of curiosity but have no self-control, easy to be shaped but unable to distinguish right from wrong. As the protagonists of the future social media world, whether children can establish correct methods and values will determine the future of social media. The social media mess is actually a sociological disaster. Finding solutions requires studying the psychology, sociology, and ethics that lead to behavior in social media. This paper mainly studies the external and internal causes of chaos in the development of social media. Analyze sociological reasons and also think about potential solutions from an ethical point of view. The ultimate goal is to improve the behavior and thinking habits of special users, children, in social media, thereby influencing the future social media atmosphere. The final product was the design of a gamification social media assist app. The project hopes to create a virtual guardian for children who are just beginning to use social media, helping children avoid the negative effects of social media by monitoring use and developing the right habits. Developed as a social experience for teens, it uses gamification mechanics to help children develop critical thinking through small missions. It gives children access to comprehensive information and an opportunity to ask questions. As for parents, they have an assistant to help them supervise their children, and a channel to help children solve their confusion.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
