In this thesis, we study models for Autonomous Micromobility-on-Demand (AMoD), wherein a fleet of self-driving vehicles provides on-demand mobility jointly with micromobility transportation mode. Intending to reduce users' average trip times we first offer an intermodal network flow model and with the aim to reduce both average travel time and cost, we present a multimodal network flow model for AMoD that captures the interaction between AMoD and micromobility. Then we present a method for the model implementation so that it guarantees the best performance for the solver. Subsequently, we present real-world case studies for the transportation networks, which allow us to quantify the general benefit of AMoD, as well as its impact on different modes of transportation. Our studies give insight into the cooperation between AMoD and micromobility where we can impact users of the micromobility vehicles by changing the parameters related to AMoD and Vice-Versa. Dealing with a linear problem (LP), the solutions ensure global optimality.

Abstract
Dealing with a linear problem (LP), the solutions ensure global optimality.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
