New Horizon

New Horizon The concept has persisted for many years after being developed by the great utopian architects of previous ages. Specifically, many of the great visionaries of the past utopian schemes deal with ideas whose viability is undeniable. The New Horizon project was founded on such reasoning. New Belgrade was built in the second half of the 20th century and is situated in the marshy region between the Sava and the Danube. In 1948, work on the city's development started. The city also gains a new, historically distinct significance as the People's Republic of Yugoslavia's new capital. However, the city only performs this function temporarily. The area where the project is located seeks to reinvigorate the current state, which, after many years, is not at an enviable level. In retrospect, from Belgrade’s rich past and the current rhetoric context, the New Horizon thrives to engage its surroundings by providing an immersive experience at not only the ground level, but also the levels above. The cascading levels help tie together the matrix that forms the very crux and life of the project. This intricate articulation of networks that create the matrix can thus endlessly expand in either directions and serve as an extension of Belgrade’s urban fabric and its identity as an all encompassing city.

Nuovo orizzonte Il concetto è persistito per molti anni dopo essere stato sviluppato dai grandi architetti utopici delle epoche precedenti. Nello specifico, molti dei grandi visionari degli schemi utopici del passato si occupano di idee la cui fattibilità è innegabile. Il progetto New Horizon è stato fondato su tale ragionamento. Nuova Belgrado è stata costruita nella seconda metà del XX secolo ed è situata nella regione paludosa tra la Sava e il Danubio. Nel 1948 iniziarono i lavori per lo sviluppo della città. La città acquisisce anche un nuovo significato storicamente distinto come nuova capitale della Repubblica popolare di Jugoslavia. Tuttavia, la città svolge questa funzione solo temporaneamente. L'area in cui si trova il progetto cerca di rinvigorire lo stato attuale che, dopo molti anni, non è ad un livello invidiabile. In retrospettiva, dal ricco passato di Belgrado e dall'attuale contesto retorico, il New Horizon prospera per coinvolgere l'ambiente circostante fornendo un'esperienza coinvolgente non solo al livello del suolo, ma anche ai livelli superiori. I livelli a cascata aiutano a legare insieme la matrice che costituisce il vero punto cruciale e la vita del progetto. Questa intricata articolazione di reti che creano la matrice può quindi espandersi all'infinito in entrambe le direzioni e fungere da estensione del tessuto urbano di Belgrado e della sua identità di città onnicomprensiva.
