Virtual technology usually exists in fashion, given that traditional ethnic clothing and fashion belong to the same broad costume category. Therefore, it is feasible to transfer the results of virtual technology applications to the Hanfu field (Hanfu, a traditional Chinese national costume). In China's current fierce Hanfu trend, the industry's commercial and cultural spheres are growing, while several issues need to be addressed. The use of virtual technology as a solution to the dilemma of the Hanfu industry is a topic worthy of study. To explore the research achievement of this technology in the existing broad costume and culture. And to lay the foundation for the study of virtual Hanfu. The author initially researches the technology background to compose this thesis's research structure and academic foundation, which understands virtual technology as a tool to promote the development and cultural heritage of the Hanfu industry. And on this basis, the author verified the research through consumer research and interviews with scholars. From a business perspective, virtual technology is an emerging product used less in the Hanfu field. However, the technology has shown robust information transfer and visual transformation functions. These functions can link the various links of the complex Hanfu production chain, facilitate efficient information transfer and behavior execution, and enable the Hanfu business behavior to connect and integrate. In other words, virtual technology can bring together the knowledge and opinions of multiple parties, which helps to improve the quality of Hanfu products and strengthen the connection between the Hanfu industry and the market. In addition, this highly interactive production model allows for savings in terms of resources and time. From a cultural point of view, virtual technology has stepped into this field. Still, its penetration is not intense, and the existing applications are limited to a few displays of cultural relics in exhibitions. However, the digital nature of virtual technology makes it an excellent advantage for recording, displaying, adjusting, and storing information. Therefore, in this thesis, the author explores the extended application of virtual Hanfu in the cultural field. Given the above powerful capabilities that virtual technology exhibits in the broad clothing field and other academic scopes. This thesis is dedicated to validating virtual technology in commercial Hanfu production and cultural transmission phases. To enable Hanfu to develop further with virtual technology and to provide a reference for those involved in this industry.
