Bus transit network representation for risk topological studies : the case study of Bergamo

Graphs are an effective method for representing and comprehending complex systems. The theory of complex networks has improved as several systems have been investigated using statistical approaches. Being able to represent a transit system as a network helps compute all the parameters required to understand a complex system. In this work, we study some essential parameters in graph theory, to be able to represent bus transit networks. Then, the Bergamo transit system was developed, accordingly. In cities, especially in middle size cities, the bus transit system is the main backbone of the transportation system to move people. Therefore, to be able to study a transportation system, we need to represent it in the best functional way. To do this, we investigate the network structure, its connectivity, and topology. Then, the graphic representation of the Bergamo bus network was proposed.

I grafici sono un metodo efficace per rappresentare e comprendere sistemi complessi. La teoria delle reti complesse è migliorata poiché diversi sistemi sono stati studiati utilizzando approcci statistici. Essere in grado di rappresentare un sistema di transito come una rete aiuta a calcolare tutti i parametri necessari per comprendere un sistema complesso. In questo lavoro, studiamo alcuni parametri essenziali nella teoria dei grafi, per essere in grado di rappresentare le reti di transito degli autobus. Poi, il sistema di transito bergamasco è stato sviluppato, di conseguenza. Nelle città, soprattutto nelle città di medie dimensioni, il sistema di transito degli autobus è la spina dorsale principale del sistema di trasporto per spostare le persone. Pertanto, per essere in grado di studiare un sistema di trasporto, dobbiamo rappresentarlo nel modo migliore funzionale. Per fare questo, esaminiamo la struttura della rete, la sua connettività e la topologia. Successivamente è stata proposta la rappresentazione grafica della rete di autobus bergamaschi.
