A “fast lane” space meant to allow a quick, easy and everyday use; a hybrid space, combining the traditional food shopping with the extemporaneous consumption.

Abstract
In the U.S., the Herald Tribune recently announced the end of the malls, distribution models dependent almost exclusively by the use of the car. Today, for most of the brands the keyword is diversification: the multiplication of distribution models in order to intercept the highest number of consumers. The purpose of this thesis is to propose a urban model of the supermarket, addressing to a population increasingly composed of small families, heading to the grocery store several times a week, maybe by bicycle. A “fast lane” space meant to allow a quick, easy and everyday use; a hybrid space, combining the traditional food shopping with the extemporaneous consumption. The distribution model refers to an active, sustainable and practical lifestyle, where the loyalty to a specific brand goes beyond a “loyalty card”, by following the user throughout the day.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
