In recent years, teleworking has rapidly spread following the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent social isolation policies adopted by governments worldwide. The year 2020 has been a turning point for many workers and companies, as they had the opportunity to experience remote working for the first time and face its advantages and challenges. The consolidation of models introduced to deal with the pandemic emergency has generated a multitude of effects that go beyond the productive sphere and influence family dynamics, personal lives, lifestyles and location choices of workers, as well as the territories in which they live. The objective of this research is to understand to what extent and for what reasons workers' lifestyles and location choices change when work is no longer necessarily bound to a specific physical location. To address the research question, fifteen qualitative interviews were conducted with workers employed in various sectors, characterized by diverse lifestyles and work modalities. Through these interviews, the aim is to gain an in-depth understanding of the priorities and perspectives of workers regarding the choices they face.

Abstract
Through these interviews, the aim is to gain an in-depth understanding of the priorities and perspectives of workers regarding the choices they face.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
