The genesis of the title comes from the union of the word Oasi and the word Sinapsi. The first is representative of the ancient oasis housing model: a reality in perfect balance with natural cycles that makes the most of the resources of the place without overpowering it; this title is explanatory of the housing and intervention concept that wants to place itself on a par with nature by creating a sustainable model that follows its cycles without deteriorating or usurping it. Sinapsi, on the other hand, explains the second principle of our project. The term, in medical circles, is representative of the circuit connecting neurons, which enables our complex thinking. This circuit of continuous information traveling through electrical impulses creates our person and everything we do, making us unique and special in our differences and is therefore one of the cornerstones in our project: to include diversity where these connections happen in different and special ways. The project OASInapsi - Independent Sustainable Architectural Organism aims to create a new place for living and inclusion that bases its principles between eco-sustainability, inclusion and self-sufficiency. These three concepts will blend to create a unique synergistic system capable of creating a new living unicum that can be an example for tomorrow. The users of our lot are different people, people with different pathologies that require specific treatment and attention, people who want to create a reality related to the principles mentioned above, and people passing through, who almost want to stipulate a different vision of the world and how it can easily change with small attentions for everyone. In order to simplify the understanding of this synergy of functions, it is appropriate to divide the built hub into three macro-themes: the residential zone, the therapeutic zone and the commercial zone. The residences are formed on slopes characterized by concrete platforms, built around the 1970s, which create the base for the built-up area; it is divided in the base level with private residences, designed for a mixed use, while in the highest zone there is a diffuse co-housing, with residences of various sizes and spaces suitable for long or short periods of stay. The therapeutic area, on the other hand, rises on the pre-existence of some asbestos sheds lying on a high, semi-vertical rock face; this center creates a hub for helping families where children and even adults, suffering from various diseases, can enjoy physical therapies thanks to a gymnasium, physiotherapy rooms and a swimming pool, as well as behavioral therapies such as art therapy, garden therapy, music therapy and pet-therapy. This center has a separate cafeteria and an adjacent park. Finally, the commercial area is built from an old farmhouse now reduced to a state of ruin, of which the south facade is retained; the restaurant takes shape in it, where the staff residing in the plot use the products grown through permacultural systems by themselves, as a sale or preparation for visitors. The final project shows how, by coordinating conscious design from compositional, technical and humanistic perspectives, one can create inhabited realities in perfect synergy with nature, attentive to human comfort and aiming for social inclusion. Accompanying the paper are real experiences, which spurred us to experience realities with different eyes, and enriched us professionally and humanely.

La genesi del titolo deriva dall’unione della parola Oasi e della parola Sinapsi. La prima è rappresentativa dell’antico modello abitativo dell’oasi: una realtà in perfetto equilibrio con i cicli naturali che sfrutta al meglio le risorse del luogo senza sovrastarlo; questo titolo è esplicativo del concetto abitativo e di intervento che vuole porsi al pari della natura creando un modello sostenibile che segua i cicli di quest’ultima senza deteriorarla o usurparla. Sinapsi invece spiega il secondo principio del nostro progetto. Il termine, in ambito medico, è rappresentativo del circuito di collegamento tra i neuroni, che permette il nostro pensiero complesso. Questo circuito di continue informazioni che viaggiano attraverso impulsi elettrici crea la nostra persona e tutto ciò che facciamo, rendendoci unici e speciali nelle nostre differenze ed è perciò uno dei punti cardine nel nostro progetto: includere le diversità dove questi collegamenti avvengono in maniera diversa e particolare. Il progetto OASInapsi - Organismo Architettonico Sostenibile Indipendente vuole creare un nuovo luogo per abitare e includere che fonda i suoi principi tra ecosostenibilità, inclusione e autosufficienza. Nel lotto questi tre concetti si mescoleranno a creare un unico sistema sinergico in grado di creare un nuovo unicum abitativo che potrà essere un esempio per il domani. I fruitori del nostro lotto sono persone diverse, persone con differenti patologie che richiedono trattamenti e attenzioni specifiche, persone che vogliono creare una realtà legata ai principi sopra citati e persone di passaggio, che vogliono quasi stipulare una visione differente del mondo e di come possa facilmente cambiare con delle piccole attenzioni per tutti. Al fine di semplificare la comprensione di questa sinergia di funzioni, è opportuno suddividere il polo costruito in tre macro-tematiche: la zona residenziale, la zona terapeutica e la zona commerciale. Le residenze si costituiscono su dei dislivelli caratterizzati da piattaforme in cemento, costruite intorno agli anni ‘70, le quali creano la base per l’edificato; esso si suddivide nel livello base con delle residenze private, pensate per un’utenza mista, mentre nella zona più alta si articola un co-housing diffuso, con residenze di varie dimensioni e spazi adatti a lunghi o brevi periodi di permanenza. La zona terapeutica invece sorge sulla preesistenza di alcuni capannoni in eternit, adagiati su un’alta parete rocciosa semi-verticale; questo centro crea un polo per l’aiuto delle famiglie dove bambini e anche adulti, affetti da diverse patologie, possono usufruire di terapie di tipo fisico grazie a palestra, sale di fisioterapie e piscina, ma anche terapie comportamentali come l’arteterapia, l’ortoterapia, la musicoterapia e la pet-therapy. Questo centro è dotato di una mensa separata e di un parco adiacente. Infine, la zona commerciale è costruita partendo da un vecchio casolare ormai ridotto in stato di rudere, di cui si mantiene la facciata sud; in esso prende forma il ristorante, dove il personale residente nel lotto utilizza i prodotti coltivati attraverso sistemi permaculturali da loro stessi, come vendita o preparazione per i visitatori. Il progetto finale mostra come, coordinando una progettazione consapevole sotto i punti di vista compositivi, tecnici ed umanistici, si riesca a creare realtà abitate in perfetta sinergia con la natura, attente al comfort dell’uomo e che puntino all’inclusione sociale. Ad accompagnare l’elaborato, sono presenti esperienze reali, che ci hanno spronato a vivere le realtà con occhi diverse, e ci hanno arricchiti professionalmente ed umanamente.
