Purpose: This paper aims to solve some problems of the unclarity in coworking space studies, especially with focus on components, classifications and future development directions. Methodology: The aim is reached by means of analysing 25 papers with the protocols of systematic literature review. The literature used is from the Scopus database, consist of peer reviewed journal articles, professional book chapters and some important conference proceedings. Originality/value: This research builds on the previous academic literature on coworking spaces by summarising the previous studies, understanding the current trends and mapping out future directions for researchers and practitioners in relevant fields.
Scopo: Questo articolo mira a risolvere i problemi legati alla mancanza di chiarezza negli studi sugli spazi di coworking, in particolare con particolare attenzione ai componenti, alle classificazioni e alle direzioni di sviluppo future. Metodologia: L’obiettivo viene raggiunto analizzando 25 articoli con protocolli di revisione sistematica della letteratura. La letteratura utilizzata proviene dal database Scopus, costituito da articoli di riviste peer reviewed, capitoli di libri professionali e alcuni importanti atti di conferenze. Originalità/valore: Questa ricerca si basa sulla precedente letteratura accademica sugli spazi di coworking riassumendo gli studi precedenti, comprendendo le tendenze attuali e mappando le direzioni future per ricercatori e professionisti nei campi pertinenti.
