This study's objective is to report the findings of an empirical inquiry into the status of Six Sigma in Indian business, with a focus on the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of Six Sigma adoption in a developing country like India. The study's methodology is an appropriate survey questionnaire for Indian industries. The findings of this exploratory empirical study show how various CSFs for Six Sigma adoption have affected Indian enterprises of various sizes and sectors. The study's main limitations included the number of companies examined, as well as its time and financial restraints. Also, the aforementioned limitations prevented semi-structured interviews used to get thorough information about the effects of various CSFs of Six Sigma implementation in Indian industry. The status of CSFs of Six Sigma implementation in Indian industry has received very little study. This study offers insight on the CSFs for Six Sigma deployment, particularly in Indian enterprises, and would be useful to academics, researchers, and Six Sigma practitioners for future implementation.
