In this thesis have been made several analysis on dynamic power management policies on Reisc Soc of STMicroelectronics. To do that, all drivers needed by a software to run on Reisc Soc are be written.A power platform has been implemented(it has been written in SystemC and then included to TLM platform that was already implemented). To exploit the functionality of power platform it has been necessary to implement also the “Dynamic Power Manager”, a layer ,written in c, that includes several drivers absolutely independent from any software application. Results have been widely discussed , pointing out the relevance that DPM has in power saving.
Il lavoro ha permesso di analizzare diverse politiche dinamiche nella gestione di potenza del Reisc Soc di STMicroelectronics,simulato con una piattaforma TLM implementata in SystemC. Per permettere l'esecuzione del sofware sul chip,si sono sviluppati tutti i drivers necessari e in aggiunta si è implementata la "power platform"(in SystemC e inglobata nella già esistente TLM Platform) insieme al "Dynamic Power Manager"(uno strato di funzioni driver in c completamente indipendente dall'applicazione software). I risultati sono stati ampiamenti discussi e equiparati evidenziando i guadagni ottenuti utilizzando il DPM.
