Nuovo ecomuseo come soglia tra il paesaggio urbano e rurale

Urs Nöf, is an urban regeneration project of a former industrial area in the town of Orzinuovi, the Ex Officine Bellometti, which aims to become a thematic area, an appendix, of the existing Oglio park which is present inside of the municipality. The goal is to make the area now abandoned, a new attractive pole of the city that can be a stopping point and passage for those who wish to visit the park. Within the area will be hosted laboratories that will allow activities related to environmental protection of the area. Another objective will be to relaunch this fragile area from a social, tourist and economic point of view, working however with the cultural and landscape heritage of these spaces. The strategy will be to use Nature Based Solu- tions through the design of Hortus Conclusus (enclosed gardens). Being a natural thematic area, the regeneration will take place following the green path and of what is sustainable, using minimally engineering and reducing the consumption of the soil, which from permeable would lend itself to transforming into permeable areas. On an architectural level we will try to give shape to the space through the analysis of the city itself and its most intrinsic and historical aspect, taking up the existing mesh and morphology, trying to reuse it in terms of form but with a different function; this is the other goal of the project. Trying to keep alive an expectation towards the viewer by providing different glimpses of the same area, going to work with a classi- fication of spaces even within the project area; we are talking about micro landscapes that are sometimes hidden by partitions and a large courtyard shed that hides a pri- vate garden inside, protected from the noise pollution of the context and dedicated to silence, observation and taking time for yourself themselves .

L’ecomuseo Urs Nöf, è un progetto di rigenerazione urbana di un ex area industriale nel paese di Orzinuovi, le Ex Officine Bellometti, che ha lo scopo di diventare un’a- rea tematica, un’appendice, dell’esistente parco Oglio che è presente all’interno del comune. L’ obiettivo è quello di rendere l’area ormai abbandonata, un nuovo polo attrattivo della città che possa essere un punto di sosta e passaggio anche per coloro che de- siderano visitare il parco. All’interno dell’area verranno ospitati dei laboratori che permetteranno attività legate alla salvaguardia ambientale della zona. Altro obiettivo sarà quello di rilanciare quest’area fragile da un punto di vista sociale, turistico ed economico lavorando però con il patrimonio culturale e paesaggistico di tali spazi. La strategia sarà quella di utilizzare le Nature Based Solutions attraverso la proget- tazione di Hortus Conclusus (giardini chiusi). Essendo un’area tematica naturale, la rigenerazione avverrà percorrendo la strada del green e di ciò che sia sostenibile utilizzando in minima parte l’ingegneria e riducendo il consumo di suolo, che da permeabile si presterebbe a trasformarsi in aree permeabili. A livello architettonico si cerchera di dare forma allo spazio attraverso l’analisi della città stessa e del suo aspetto più intrinseco e storico, riprendendo la maglia e la morfologia esistente, cercando di riutilizzarla a livello di forma ma con una funzione differente; questo è l’altro obiettivo del progetto. Cercare di mantenere viva un’aspettativa nei confronti dello spettatore fornendo scorci diversi della stessa area, andando a lavorare con una classificazione degli spazi anche all’interno dell’area di progetto; si parla di micro paesaggi che vengono a tratti nascosti da setti e di un grande capannone a corte che nasconde al suo interno un giardino privato, protetto dall’inquinamento acustico del contesto e dedito al silenzio, all’osservazione ed al prendersi del tempo per se stessi .
