linear landscape

This project focuses on the town of golfo aranci in northern sardinia. The town relies mainly on fishing as well as tourism. Since the 1960s it has served as a sea passage. Originally a fishing village, this residential center has been a municipality since 1979 with 20,500 inhabitants and a rapidly growing tourism industry. Sea and land excursions lead to spectacular bays, a paradise of sandy beaches alternating with cliffs overlooking turquoise and crystal waters. However, the infrastructure configuration here is not perfect, and the site has not been used and planned more rationally: for example, there are a large number of abandoned railways in the site, the transportation system is chaotic, many areas have not been rationally utilized, and the land functions are fragmented and unable to provide tourists and residents Very good service. In response to the above issues, we rethink different landscape layers and propose corresponding strategies for different sites. The primary goal of the design is to integrate the transportation system, endow the land with functions, and provide services for tourists. To this end, we propose the concept of linear landscape to integrate these fragmented lands to make the functions targeted.
