Studio e analisi delle relazioni fra proprietà petrofisiche e misure geofisiche

In this thesis we study and analyze how geophysical measurements vary, in particular the velocity of elastic waves, varying petrophysical properties. The link between geophysical measurements and petrophysical properties is possible using the constitutive relations. The opening chapters provide hints on the theory of the petrophysical properties of rocks and how they relate to the velocity of propagation of elastic waves. The concluding chapters present a real data set, analyze the links geophysics-petrophysics and check the validity of the constitutive relations.

In questo lavoro di tesi si studiano e analizzano come variano le misure geofisiche, in modo particolare le velocità delle onde elastiche, al variare delle proprietà petrofisiche. Il legame tra le misure geofisiche e le proprietà petrofisiche è possibile grazie alle relazioni costitutive. I capitoli iniziali forniscono cenni sulla teoria delle proprietà petrofisiche delle rocce e sul loro legame con la velocità di propagazione delle onde elastiche. I capitoli conclusivi presentano un dataset reale, analizzano i legami geofisica-petrofisica e verificano la validità delle relazioni costitutive.
