Backpacks, sports, and the mountains. For some time now, the relationship between these elements has been established in the experience of thousands of enthusiasts. Indeed, since the end of the 19th century, the backpack has become an essential product in the emerging world of mountaineering and mountain sports. Backpacks dedicated to hiking, mountaineering, or skiing have followed the evolution of these activities as users began to demand more performance from their equipment. Today, however, it seems that these products have reached a stage of maturity and that the development of new solutions has slowed down. This thesis therefore aims to explore possible future evolutions of the design of backpacks dedicated to outdoor activities. The project will focus on the backpack's main component: the suspension system. Starting from the collection of data and the analysis of problems related to the use of the backpack, highlighted by medical and biomechanical studies, the thesis work aims to propose a possible redesign of this key component. At the same time, the work also aims to provide an overview of the state of the art of outdoor backpack design and what the possible future developments of this product category might be.
Zaino, sport e montagna.

Abstract
At the same time, the work also aims to provide an overview of the state of the art of outdoor backpack design and what the possible future developments of this product category might be.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
