The research focuses on domestic interiors which stand out for being the site of one of the possible forms of synthesis of the arts. In order to carry out an analysis as detailed as possible, part of the thesis is devoted to developing an interdisciplinary methodology based on the critical instruments of architecture and also borrowed from extra-architectural fields: spatial, genetic, intertextual, perceptive and receptive analysis. This investigative methodology is applied to three case studies, each illustrating a different approach to the synthesis of the arts: Villa Fontana (Lenno, 1967-1968), which testifies to the results of the collaboration between the architects Ico and Luisa Parisi and the programmed artists; Villa Carlevaro (Segrate, 1967-1972), conceived by Bruno Morassutti borrowing a creative method from the artist Enzo Mari; Villas gemelle (Toscolano Maderno, 1970-1971), where the artistic talent of architects Alberto Salvati and Ambrogio Tresoldi is revealed.

Abstract
The research focuses on domestic interiors which stand out for being the site of one of the possible forms of synthesis of the arts. In order to carry out an analysis as detailed as possible, part of the thesis is devoted to developing an interdisciplinary methodology based on the critical instruments of architecture and also borrowed from extra-architectural fields: spatial, genetic, intertextual, perceptive and receptive analysis. This investigative methodology is applied to three case studies, each illustrating a different approach to the synthesis of the arts: Villa Fontana (Lenno, 1967-1968), which testifies to the results of the collaboration between the architects Ico and Luisa Parisi and the programmed artists; Villa Carlevaro (Segrate, 1967-1972), conceived by Bruno Morassutti borrowing a creative method from the artist Enzo Mari; Villas gemelle (Toscolano Maderno, 1970-1971), where the artistic talent of architects Alberto Salvati and Ambrogio Tresoldi is revealed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
