The contribution of Investment Banking to the environmental transition

This report illustrates the current environmental challenge we are facing and the role of financial institutions to tackle it. Specifically, it demonstrates how Natixis CIB acts as a key partner for corporates in their environmental transition using their specific internal tools and providing sustainable financial instruments to support the green economy. This report is based on my theoretical knowledge and my professional experience. You will understand that Natixis CIB has sustainability woven into its DNA through a deep presentation of the Investment Bank and its actions to reach its environmental goal, such as the implementation, and for the first time worldwide, of a tool designed to drive climate and environmental transition of its own balance sheet: the Green Weighting Factor. My current position being a credit analyst, this report will then focus on the presentation of the Distribution and Portfolio Management Team and its credit greenification strategy that is put in place, contributing to make the bank one of the best ranked for sustainability.

In particolare, dimostra come Natixis CIB agisca come partner chiave per le imprese nella loro transizione ambientale grazie a specifici strumenti interni e fornendo soluzioni finanziare sostenibile per sostenere la green economy. Questo documento si basa sulle mie conoscenze teoriche e sulla mia esperienza professionale. Occupo attualmente la posizione di analista di credito.
