Beyond blue : exploring the interplay between water, space and behavior

This essay explores the form and soul of water, how it achieves a fundamental cycle of self-reliance, and how it lives in symbiosis with humans. We hope to tap into the potential of water as a design tool to solve problems on the site. The site chosen for this design is cabo da roca, the farthest point of the land, where the ocean begins. It is a beautiful landscape, a well-known tourist attraction, but with inadequate infrastructure and insufficient contact with water. We designed three water-related spaces: water hub, water path and water stage, where people will experience and touch the water. It is a journey full of sensory experiences.

Questo saggio esplora la forma e l'anima dell'acqua, il modo in cui essa realizza un ciclo fondamentale di autosufficienza e simbiosi con gli esseri umani. Vogliamo sfruttare il potenziale dell'acqua come strumento di progettazione per risolvere i problemi del sito. Il sito scelto per questo progetto è cabo da roca, il punto più lontano della terra, dove inizia l'oceano. È un paesaggio bellissimo e una nota attrazione turistica, ma le infrastrutture sono inadeguate e il contatto con l'acqua è insufficiente. Il nostro progetto prevede tre spazi legati all'acqua - water hub, water path e water stage - dove le persone potranno sperimentare l'acqua ed essere esposte ad essa. Si tratta di un viaggio ricco di esperienze sensoriali.
