This creation is deliberately designed to facilitate an instantaneous connection between individuals and the surrounding environment. The sky, as well as the special identity of this place, plays a crucial role, especially during the nighttime when the moon shines in its full splendor in the desert. Through a detailed analysis of lunar positions and events tied to various lunar phases, the project explores how the moon’s ever-changing nature breathes life into extraordinary atmospheres, shaped by climatic conditions and the progression of seasons. The architecture itself blurs and integrates with the surrounding environment, enabling a harmonious dialogue between humans and nature. The core of the project revolves around the possibility of temporal coexistence between humans and nature. But is it truly possible? The thesis does not aim to resolve this question but rather to dedicate a space to temporal encounters and encourage profound reflection on the harmony between human beings and the natural world.

Nel cuore del Salar de Uyuni, in Bolivia, si erge una struttura architettonica che unisce in modo unico l’essenza umana al grandioso paesaggio naturale. Questa creazione è deliberatamente progettata per facilitare un’istantanea connessione tra gli individui e l’ambiente circostante. Il cielo, nonchè l’identità speciale di questo luogo, riveste un ruolo fondamentale, soprattutto durante le ore notturne, quando la luna splende nella sua massima bellezza nel deserto. Il progetto, mediante un’analisi dettagliata delle posizioni e degli eventi legati alle diverse fasi lunari, esplora come la mutevolezza della luna dia vita ad atmosfere straordinarie, modellate dalle condizioni climatiche e dall’evolversi delle stagioni. L’architettura stessa si confonde e si integra nell’ambiente circostante, facilitando un dialogo armonioso tra l’uomo e la natura. Il nucleo del progetto si basa sulla possibilità di una coesistenza temporale tra uomo e natura. Ma è davvero possibile? La tesi non mira a risolvere tale interrogativo, ma piuttosto a dedicare uno spazio all’incontro temporale e ad incoraggiare una profonda riflessione sull’armonia tra l’essere umano e il mondo naturale.
