For decades, Infomobility has been an instrument to sustain road users. Its function is to keep users up to date with the conditions of the road network and to point out possible anomalies. As a consequence, its purpose is to recommend alternative paths. However, an obvious doubt arises, which is related to the effectiveness of the information tools concerning the status of the global network. In this thesis, after the thorough presentation of the set of problems, a dynamic congestion model based on game theory was developed and arranged according to different information levels. For each level, equilibria states and their efficiencies were computed. The model was applied to a real case study concerning the A4 highway section Seriate-Bergamo and two different paths in the proximity of the main road. Finally, conclusions demonstrating the possible ineffectiveness of the information tools were drawn.

Abstract
Finally, conclusions demonstrating the possible ineffectiveness of the information tools were drawn.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
