CONNESSIONI DI/STANZE Lodi: tra fiume e città

Today the river is no longer seen as a primary source of life, but remains a resource to be protected. Preservation and valorization are fundamental, more generally, for the survival of local identities, characterized by not only environmental heritage, but also material and immaterial cultural heritage. The project starts from the detachment found between urban realities and waterways. An attempt is made to apply, using the city of Lodi as an example, a process of reactivating the links between urban spaces, communities and the river. The system chosen to concretize the valorization is the ecomuseum. The tools: education and art. The community is involved in the activation of different "rooms", a constellation of places, which "light up" at different times and with different intensities, thanks to permanent or temporary interventions that accompany the rediscovery of the city. This process aims to strengthen the sense of identity and stimulate care for their territory.

Il fiume oggi non è più visto come fonte primaria di vita, ma rimane una risorsa da proteggere. Tutela e valorizzazione sono fondamentali, più in generale, per la sopravvivenza delle identità locali, caratterizzate da patrimoni non solo ambientali, ma anche culturali materiali e immateriali. Il progetto di tesi parte dal distacco che si riscontra tra realtà urbane e corsi d’acqua. Si tenta di applicare, prendendo come esempio la città di Lodi, un processo di riattivazione dei legami tra spazi urbani, comunità e fiume. Il sistema scelto per concretizzare la valorizzazione è l’ecomuseo. Gli strumenti: l’educazione e l’arte. Si coinvolge la comunità nell’attivazione di diverse “stanze”, una costellazione di luoghi, che si “accendono” in momenti diversi e con intensità differenti, grazie a interventi permanenti o temporanei che accompagnano ella riscoperta della città. Questo processo ha l’obiettivo di rafforzare il senso d’identità e stimolare la cura per il proprio territorio.
