The design is based on the current Hong Kong urban situation, limited supply of housing and lack of proper public space in the city. Residentials are designed in a minimum size that only provide the basic daily life. It turns out the importance of public space in Hong Kong. The project is aim to introduce a new typology of public space, housing, commercials complex. By using the idea of redefine the ground, the project created different layers of public space which provide better accessibility and mobility. Green open space and indoor space are interlock each other for a sustainability high-density metropolitans settlement.
Il progetto si basa sull'attuale situazione urbana di Hong Kong, sull'offerta limitata di alloggi e sulla mancanza di spazi pubblici adeguati in città. La maggior parte delle residenze sono progettate in dimensioni minime che forniscono solo la vita quotidiana di base. Si scopre l'importanza dello spazio pubblico a Hong Kong. Il progetto mira a introdurre una nuova tipologia di spazio pubblico, residenziale e commerciale. Utilizzando l'idea di ridefinire il terreno, il progetto ha creato diversi strati di spazio pubblico che garantiscono una migliore accessibilità e mobilità. Lo spazio verde aperto e lo spazio interno si intrecciano tra loro per un insediamento metropolitano sostenibile ad alta densità.
