Substations play a crucial role in the global power system, encompassing energy generation, transmission, and distribution to end consumers. Despite evolving energy mixes and generation sources, the significance of substations remains steadfast. The efficient engineering, design, and construction of substations directly impact project costs, necessitating a strategic approach from the outset. This document aims to present a constructive solution for primary substations, specifically focusing on a high-voltage/medium-voltage (HV/MV) substation with two sub-transmission lines, two power transformers, and a containerized medium voltage switchgear (up to 24 kV) featuring an integrated protection and control system. The proposed solution caters to secondary rated currents of up to 2000A. By applying this standard to a case study in southern Italy, the document outlines the equipment and procedural steps required for constructing a primary substation, including electro-mechanical procedures. The objective is to advocate for the implementation of a standardized approach, reducing engineering and design time, cutting costs, and enhancing project efficiency through a transparent process. Recognizing the unique conditions of each project, this work emphasizes adaptability while meeting essential requirements and conditions.

Abstract
Recognizing the unique conditions of each project, this work emphasizes adaptability while meeting essential requirements and conditions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
