As Egypt in a whole were always covetous for other countries, Quiser was not excluded from it but actually was one of the main important regions that through the history other countries tried to take it. Theories were said that it all started during the pharos ruling under the rule of Egyptian queen Hatshepsut. She used Tao city’s (Quiser now) port as a base for lunching trade journeys. It didn’t stop but rather continued, as during the French campaign in Egypt in 1799, Napoleon Bonaparte realized the importance of this port and tried to occupy the city but later his plan failed and could not stay in the city for long time. Quiser city was under a lot of changes during each rule starting with the pharaonic rule it was simply a port using for trading and the city was yet not built.
