In recent years, the nature of workspaces has undergone significant changes, transitioning from cellular structures to flexible open-plan spaces. These changes have led to the emergence of shared workspaces, which are themselves a subset of flexible workspaces. co-working spaces can be defined as a community of individuals seeking higher levels of efficiency and connectivity through the use of flexible and shared spaces and amenities. It is important to note that co-working spaces can be created within urban areas and naturally can influence urban spaces socially, culturally, physically, and even economically. Additionally, these spaces can integrate with their surroundings and create a new urban space. Another important and influential feature of co-working spaces on the urban landscape is their social inclusivity. Therefore, this research attempts to answer the question of how a shared workspace can influence its surrounding environment socially. The results of this study indicate that individuals' preference and inclination to be present in urban spaces depend on the type of interaction they have with space. If a space not only supports individuals' activities and meets their needs and goals but also provides a platform for the exchange of ideas and fosters an emotional connection, playing a role in their identity structure, an interaction between the individual and the space is established. Based on the data obtained, it was revealed that citizens' interaction with the surrounding environment of shared workspaces comprises three formal-physical, functional-behavioral, and social-perceptual components. Therefore, to facilitate their interaction with the surrounding spaces of shared workspaces, attention should be paid to all three components.

Abstract
Therefore, to facilitate their interaction with the surrounding spaces of shared workspaces, attention should be paid to all three components.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
