Design enjoying an unprecedented boom, aided preciesly by technology and media. But how does media influence of forms of production, but also reflection and where is that leading us? In today’s traditional media tools, a large part of the content and the order of presentation of the content is created by the users. Traditional and digital media formations included in daily life have become new platforms where information is produced and information flow is provided. This study deals with architectural information flow through today’s digital media formations. The aim of this study is to explore the effects of the active inclusion of design media platforms in the field of Italian architectural design knowledge and shaping Italian design. In this context, this thesis study raises the following questions; • How is information flow ensured in architecture? • What is the place of architectural media platforms in this information flow? • Are these platforms a guide or a follower in the development and change of Italian architecture and contemporary architectural debates? • How Italian magazines affect and being active role in events? Focusing on these questions, the study determined a descriptive methodology rather than putting forward a hypothesis. In line with this approach, the scope of the study has been determined as architectural platforms that broadcast Italian architecture.
