Building represents the dialogue between architecture and horizon, the relationship between sky and earth. Inserting architecture into the landscape implies the establishment of a limit, which can be as complete as an inscription, or a cut in the history and physicality of the territory. The cut is what allows the dialogue between the earth and the sky for the creation of a new space. How can a cut, or rather a discontinuity, link the territory? The project of Xanto becomes a journey through the landscape, inserts itself into the earth to establish a new relationship with the sky. The project represents an incision, a mimetic building that represents the horizontality of the territory but at the same time seeks height to establish relationships with the surrounding environment. This project with a strong symbolic value takes its composition from the constellation of Equuleus and the symbol of Pegasus. The stars, constellations and symbols move and describe the shapes of the buildings which become like characters in the Piney Lake scene.

Il costruire rappresenta il dialogo tra architettura ed orizzonte, il rapporto tra cielo e terra. Inserire un’architettura nel paesaggio implica la costituzione di un limite, il quale può essere inteso come un’inscrizione, ovvero un taglio nella storia e nella fisicità del territorio. Il taglio è ciò che permette il dialogo tra la terra ed il cielo per la creazione di un nuovo spazio. Come può un taglio, ovvero una discontinuità, legare il territorio? Il progetto Xanto diventa un viaggio nel paesaggio, si inserisce nella terra per stabilire un nuovo rapporto con il cielo. Il progetto costituisce un’incisione, un edificio mimetico che rappresenti l’orizzontalità del territorio ma allo stesso tempo ricerchi l’altezza per stabilire rapporti con l’ambiente circostante. Questo progetto di forte valenza simbolica prende la sua composizione dalla costellazione di Equuleus e dal simbolo di Pegaso. Le stelle, le costellazioni ed i simboli muovono e descrivono le forme degli edifici i quali diventano come dei personaggi nella scena del paesaggio del lago di Piney.
