The Pnice Hill is an extremely important archaeological site, a sediment of continuous stratifications through the centuries. This has meant having to confront the memories of such a place: its origins, evolutionary stages and its inherited identity over time. Architectural and non-architectural interventions should be understood not as a punctual intervention, but as part of a larger system in the city: its essential character is landscape and urban redevelopment, drawing inspiration from the character of the place and adhering to existing routes and sites. The project was inspired by real needs such as: the desire to emphasize the importance and enhancement of the present archaeology, tying these needs to the view of the surrounding landscape with a route that touches its highlights and takes advantage of the best perspectives. To this end, a ground plan has been envisioned, which can encourage visits to the site. In the respect of the place and in the further enhancement of it, the realization of a fashion show, by the Italian brand Missoni, has been added. This event will be realized through the use of specially designed temporary elements, which will join permament elements already present in the project designed for the Pnice. As one of the Italian excellences in the world of haute couture creates its garments starting from a 'thorough knowledge of the raw material, respecting its quality and characteristics, also our intervention aims at the realization of elements that can arouse, both in the short time of the fashion show, and in the long time, interest and visual and tactile enhancement of the place. Through the use of form and matter, in the site and in the brand, we define our own singularity and exceptionality that binds and combine them. On the one hand, the Pnice has a strong natural and landscape component given by the remarkable movement of the soil, marked by the clear and compact stone, and on the other hand Missoni, which, with the combination of various colors, scanned through regular shapes concretizes its materiality through fabric.

Abstract
On the one hand, the Pnice has a strong natural and landscape component given by the remarkable movement of the soil, marked by the clear and compact stone, and on the other hand Missoni, which, with the combination of various colors, scanned through regular shapes concretizes its materiality through fabric.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
