The branding of these spaces has become as problem of health, safety, traffic congestion, chaos, illegality and many more majorly across the globe. Another important aspect is ‘no two markets can ever be identical’. To say, buying a produce in Himalayan village market, craft in Jonesburg downtown market, tuna in Tokyo port market, art market in Paris, spice market in Dubai, there is endless universality in market experience. With such diversities of markets and its practices, generalizing markets not only becomes mired but also obscure the historical transformations each went through in its time. I quote – Marketplaces are synergically product of space and people with time as a variable bringing transformation.
