This study aims to analyse smart checkout systems and IoT based payment systems. With rapidly changing customer expectations and technology, the adaptation of these new technologies in payment systems, which can bring about significant changes, and examples from around the world have been examined. Before the analysis, payment systems in Europe and Italy, as well as the expected changes in this field, have been first examined. Then, studies and conceptual designs in the literature for both topics have been reviewed. Additionally, for a comprehensive review, studies addressing the advantages, disadvantages, and factors affecting the adaptation of these systems have been included. Census methodology has been used for analysis in this study. Current examples have been added based on previously prepared censuses, aiming to obtain more up-to-date and comprehensive censuses. The variables included in the census and the steps followed when preparing censuses are detailed in Chapter 2. In Chapter 3, the outputs obtained from these censuses have been examined. The distribution of each variable and relationship with different variables have been shown. Additionally, the most preferred subcategories in each system have been mentioned. In Chapter 4, the study has concluded by discussing the main outcomes of the study, limitations and topics that can be included in further analysis.

Abstract
In Chapter 4, the study has concluded by discussing the main outcomes of the study, limitations and topics that can be included in further analysis.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
