The thesis describes the implementation of blockchain technology to some selected cases of the energy market. Different market logics were examined to see how they could be applied in the energy sector. This included looking at Liquidity Pools, and also the test case of the continuous intra-day market based on blockchain technology. The thesis work focuses on two off-chain scripts which are designed to replicate the functionality of the previous gobot script, while incorporating improvements solving a “race condition”. Through several simulations, the report explores the involvement of various market players, including both sellers and buyers, with the final goal of testing the efficiency of the implemented scripts. The report also discusses current blockchain-based solutions used in energy trading, particularly those that follow financial concepts like FIFO (First In, First Out). Additionally, the final chapter focuses on regulatory issues and challenges raising specific questions about regulatory frameworks, with a particular emphasis on compliance with European Directives.

Abstract
Additionally, the final chapter focuses on regulatory issues and challenges raising specific questions about regulatory frameworks, with a particular emphasis on compliance with European Directives.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
