The work is focused on the development and optimization of flight test data analysis throughout mainly a new customized software for flight test team necessity in Pipistrel by Textron eAviation. The work here presented is part of an ongoing process of improving and developing procedures for flight test, where the BAT Tool software developed aims to improve and reduce the workload of Flight Test Engineers (FTE) by automating and assisting with post-analysis tasks during development or certification flight test campaigns. The software is designed to visualize the available data incorporating built-in automatic functions to automate the analysis process of stalls, climb, glide, take off and landing performance in an easy, fast and reliable manner; taking as reference guidelines both the certification requirements and test measurement technique. It enables the automatic recognition of test point behaviors while also allowing FTEs to modify, adapt, and interact with each analysis to better meet specific test point requirements tailored to the needs of Pipistrel products. Additionally, a control panel tool (FTD-CP) has been developed to facilitate interaction between the FTE and the onboard data acquisition system during flight, marking and highlighting different time instants useful for post-analysis, enhancing the reliability and organization of the flight test activities. The developed software and FTD-CP demonstrate an high degree of consistency and reliability in their final version, receiving also a positive final evaluation in its human interface from the FTEs who will be using it.

Abstract
The developed software and FTD-CP demonstrate an high degree of consistency and reliability in their final version, receiving also a positive final evaluation in its human interface from the FTEs who will be using it.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
