Abstract
With the rapid development of society, human beings have created a high level of civilization, carved out cities from swampy woodlands, built high-rise buildings, and continued to expand the natural boundaries, having a faster and more convenient life, but getting further and further away from nature. The relationship between human beings and nature and animals is complex, and nowadays city children are far away from nature from the time they are born. They live in the city, learning and observing animals through books and television. But through limited media, they do not even know the difference between a cow and an ordinary cow, where the pork on the table comes from, how chickens lay eggs, and the current kindergarten teaching lacks the relevant education. Children have too little connection with animals, and animals are forgotten by children. This thesis hopes to create a connection between children and chickens through a design that will enable children to learn about and observe chickens in the nursery. Creating key scenarios where children and chickens live together and exploring the harmonious development of humans and animals is a very interesting and meaningful topic. Focusing on animal groups that are gradually forgotten by children and pre-schools, it delves into the relationship between humans and non-humans and explores the issue of urban biodiversity. Enhance children's knowledge of animals, sense of responsibility. This innovative coop is not just a shelter for chickens; it is a dynamic educational tool that offers young learners a hands-on experience with animal care, biology, and environmental science. A chicken coop that transcends mere functionality and becomes a vessel of wonder and enlightenment for children. This coop, envisioned as a sanctuary of learning, invites young minds to explore the delicate symphony of life and nature. Here, amidst the gentle clucking and rustling feathers, children will uncover the profound interconnectedness of all living things. They will witness the miracle of life cycles and the rhythms of nature, gaining insights that extend beyond textbooks into the heart of our shared existence. This chicken coop is more than a structure; it is a gateway to curiosity, a catalyst for wisdom, and a beacon of sustainable harmony, encouraging a new generation to cherish and nurture the world around them.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
