Pietra 4.0 : recupero e strategie di valorizzazione per la Cava Ponte Rosso in Val di Genova (Pedretti Graniti); applicazione di tecnologie innovative Active House

The title of the thesis stems from the desire to bring a new stage to the project site where the stone is the protagonist. 4.0 is therefore the new evolutionary phase that follows the first, identified in the formation of tonalite, the second which is its cultivation and the third and now last stage which is the transformation into the final product. With the new phase we have a vision of rebirth in respect of what is the natural dispute, where today there is a wound. Our project is based on tradition, eco-sustainability and self-sufficiency. In the project, the fusion of these principles creates a dynamic and living place that wants to be a model for problem mining sites. The users of our site are citizens who reappropriate open spaces multifunctional, travelers to discover the park of Adamello, sportsmen or those who simply want to reconnect with nature in a totally isolated environment surrounded by nature. Our intervention divides the area into three macro areas, the quarry front with the restoration of the landslide front, the quarry itself with a structure with an alternation of private spaces and common spaces, a green area that merges with a multipurpose square, Sports spaces and energy plant for self-sufficiency. Finally, a portion of old side cultivation will be destined for a reserved wellness area. The final result is the RE-functionalization of an extraction site mixed with a RE-greening in respect of the tradition and authenticity of the place. The project also shows how the correct planning of the life of a quarry together with informed choices make it possible to recover even sites that arise in areas far from the urban fabric, guaranteeing human comfort while respecting the environment.

L’origine del titolo di tesi deriva dalla volontà di portare ad un nuovo stadio il sito di progetto dove la pietra è protagonista. 4.0 è quindi la nuova fase evolutiva che si accoda alla prima, identificata nella formazione della tonalite, la seconda che è la sua coltivazione e la terza e ad oggi ultima fase che è quella della trasformazione nel prodotto finale. Con la nuova fase abbiamo una visione di rinascita in rispetto di quello che è il conteso naturale, là dove oggi è presente una ferita. Il nostro progetto basa i suoi principi su tradizione, ecosostenibilità e autosufficienza. Nel progetto la fusione di questi principi genera un luogo dinamico e vivo che vuole essere da modello per i siti estrattivi che rappresentano un problema. Gli utenti del nostro sito sono i cittadini che si riappropriano di spazi aperti polifunzionali, dei viaggiatori alla scoperta del parco dell’Adamello, degli sportivi o di chi semplicemente vuole ricollegarsi alla natura in un ambiente totalmente isolato immerso nella natura. Il nostro intervento suddivide l’area in tre macroaree, il fronte di cava con il risanamento del fronte franato, la cava stessa con una struttura ricettiva con l’alternanza di spazi privati e spazi comuni, un’area verde che si fonde ad una piazza polifunzionale, spazi per lo sport e centrale energetica per l’autosufficienza. Infine, una porzione di vecchia coltivazione laterale sarà destinata ad un’area wellness riservata. Il risultato finale è la RI-funzionalizzazione di un sito estrattivo mixato ad un RI-inverdimento in rispetto della tradizione e della autenticità del luogo. Il progetto mostra inoltre come la corretta programmazione della vita di una cava insieme a scelte consapevoli rendano possibile recuperare anche i siti che sorgono in area lontane dal tessuto urbano garantendo i confort per l’uomo in rispettando l’ambente.
