As one of the three major health drinks in the world, tea is widely accepted by the world. Various regions have developed different tea drinking customs and tea drinking cultures. These rich tea cultures have a strong historical background and unique cultural orientation in the region (Tang, 2008). Since these unique spiritual qualities are secretly carried in tea, tea can be used as a medium to help multicultural exchanges. Although tea production and consumption continue to grow, and people’s awareness of health is gradually increasing, they do not have a deep understanding of the history and culture behind tea. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to help people deepen their understanding of tea culture, and use it as a bridge to promote multicultural exchanges behind tea culture. In this study, the Teavine designed by the author is a platform to promote cultural exchanges with tea as a medium. Teavine mainly provides three services: “Immersive learning”, “Cultural communication community”, and “Tiered engagement mechanism”, so that people can explore the culture and history related to tea, appreciate the multicultural behind it, connect people from all over the world, and promote cultural exchanges. Thus, through tea, everyone has the opportunity to become an ambassador to promote cultural exchanges, and ultimately create an inclusive and diverse community. The project Teavine innovatively uses tea, a popular beverage, as a medium for cultural exchange, and promotes the desire of a wider range of people to explore tea culture, which provides a development strategy that more accessible to the public for subsequent development.
Il tè è una delle tre principali bevande consumate al mondo. Nei secoli, diverse regioni attorno al globo hanno sviluppato differenti usanze e rituali nel bere il tè, generando orientamenti culturali e spirituali unici (Tang, 2008). Poiché queste qualità sono ormai intrinseche nella bevanda, il tè può essere efficacemente utilizzato come mezzo per aiutare gli scambi multiculturali. Tuttavia, sebbene la produzione e il consumo di tè continuino a crescere e la consapevolezza sulla salute stia gradualmente aumentando, le persone non hanno una profonda comprensione della ricchezza storica e culturale dietro il tè. Pertanto, lo scopo di questo studio è quello di aiutare le persone ad approfondire la loro comprensione della cultura del tè e utilizzarla come ponte per promuovere gli scambi multiculturali. In seguito a un’ampia ricerca sulla storia del tè, la tesi presenta il progetto “Teavine”, una piattaforma per promuovere gli scambi culturali attraverso il tè. “Teavine” fornisce principalmente tre servizi: “Apprendimento immersivo”, “Comunità di comunicazione culturale” e “Meccanismo di coinvolgimento su diversi livelli”, con l’obiettivo di aiutare le persone a esplorare la cultura e la storia legate al tè, apprezzare il multiculturalismo che c’è dietro, mettere in contatto persone da tutto il mondo e promuovere scambi culturali. Attraverso la bevanda, tutti hanno l’opportunità di diventare ambasciatori per promuovere scambi culturali e, in definitiva, creare una comunità inclusiva e diversificata. Il progetto “Teavine” utilizza in modo innovativo il tè, una bevanda popolare, come mezzo per lo scambio culturale e promuove il desiderio di una più ampia gamma di persone di esplorare la ricchezza legata alla cultura del tè.
