Villa Arconati, built in the 17th century, is a rich architectural and landscape heritage. Over time, due to social changes, economic turmoil, wars, the impact of modern architecture, the decline of the aristocracy, and rising maintenance costs, the villa has experienced several phases of prosperity and decline. During this process, the granary of the villa not only suffered physical damage but also saw its function as a cultural center and social venue gradually diminish. This thesis focuses on the study and design of the granary's renovation. What role should the villa play in a modern context? What kind of space can preserve its history and culture? How can the potential of abandoned buildings be harnessed to maximize their value? This research will focus on the transformation of the space and the characteristics of the site, aiming to address these questions.
