The following thesis has been developed inside the company Axcent System Engineering s.r.l. which, among other activities, performs consulting in the mobility sector focusing mostly on rail transportation. The goal was to explore the themes of maintenance and remote diagnostic in the railway sector. Especially, it has been carried out a study of the manuals and documents made available by the company, and an analysis of the data provided, in order to have a better understanding of how the remote diagnostic process happens in reality. Furthermore, it has been performed a thorough study of the platform developed by Axcent System Engineering as tool to support the work inside railway operators control rooms, additionally, new function to include in the software has been explored. It was possible to explore the state of the art in the use of the data collected by sensors installed on the rolling stock, and how they contribute to the optimization of the maintenance activities.

Abstract
It was possible to explore the state of the art in the use of the data collected by sensors installed on the rolling stock, and how they contribute to the optimization of the maintenance activities.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
